I really hope some of the things that have happened in my life re-occur because hindsight has taught me some very valuable lessons!

..butĀ if none of the things I’ve learned from re-occur, so is hindsight! Wouldn’t you say?

I feel like I should add a bit more to this so after some thought I guess hindsight is actually your minds way of letting you know you’ve learned something that could benefit you in the future, given the opportunity.

It serves to reinforce and subsequently help you trust your own knowlegde a little more each time it occurs.

So even if the same thing doesn’t happen, you will probably feel more confident in similar situations.

    Here’s one!

If you get woken up in the middle of the night by someone in your garden who says they’ve: “just come from a nearbly party and hopped over the wall to take a leak”, tell them to go elsewhere and that you are calling the police!

Do not just say “pee on the roses and get out!”

They may actually be looking for a big piece of wood to throw through your sister-in-law’s car window, that you borrowed the night before, to steal the jacket on the back seat.

    Here’s another:

If you need to get a quote for something and you have a couple of ideas to choose from, always get a quote for what you think is the cheaper alternative first.

If you get a quote for both (or more) at the same time you may find all the prices quite close together to encourage you to just ‘go that bit extra’ and get the more expensive option.
